A Brief History
MangaWitch Studios launched in 2017 with the webcomics called “The Guys”.
Although the art was lacking in professional quality, artist and founder Emma(Heart), also known as MangaWitch808, continued to pursue a career in webcomic creation. “The Guys” can no longer be found on Webtoons, but can be read using the link below.

Hikikonekomori
Hikonekomori is the combination of two Japanese words,
Hikokomori – loosely translates to “shut-in” or someone who doesn’t leave the house.
Neko: translates to “cat.”
HikikoNEKOmori tells the story of a young woman who is a shut-in, and her battle with depression as seen from the eyes of her pet cat who is trying her best to help her (and is doing a great job by the way!)
The original 14-chapter version was published on Webtoons in 2018. The shortened 5-chapter version was published for the Webtoon Short Story contest the following year.
Magical Girl Mirror-chan
MGMC launched June 2020!
Although it is currently on hiatus, MGMC was the most popular comic of MW Studios, and was accompanied by a blog website called Magical Girl Studios. It is available to read on Webtoons.
Magical Girl Mirror-chan revolves around the life of a Magical Girl named Mirror-chan, who is training her sidekick, Marina-chan. Together they travel all around the fantastical world of Sleep, saving people from dangerous creatures called Nightmares.
But not all is as it seems in the world of Sleep! And maybe Mirror-chan herself has a hidden side of her?!
Are we who we are, or are we who we think we are? And can we ever be who we really want to be? What if the best version of ourselves only exist in our dreams?
MGMC will continue updates in Fall 2023!
Cloud Vixen
The most recent comic lauched by MW Studios is “Cloud Vixen”, a fantasy adventure story following the journey of a boy named Graven, who is searching for a mythical item. Cloud Vixen is available on Webtoons!
